Three small apps.
Made for Mac.

Peek, Shot and Swoop are small Mac apps I design and build myself. Each one does a single thing, does it properly, and stays out of your way.

Peek

Dynamic Island for your MacBook's notch

The song that's playing, charging, volume and brightness, and a shelf to hold files or AirDrop them, all in the notch.

Shot

Screenshots, marked up where you took them

Capture an area, a window or the whole screen, mark it up on the spot and drag it into any app. Recording and pinning, too.

Swoop

Download manager for macOS

Grab videos and files from any website, streaming sites included, and they play right away on your Mac.

Dynamic Island for MacBook

Notch it.
Peek it.

Peek turns your MacBook's notch into a Dynamic Island, like iPhone's: the song that's playing, charging, volume and brightness, and a shelf to hold files for a moment or send them by AirDrop.

macOS 13 or later, on a MacBook with a notch or without one

Peek's full page is on its way.
Screenshot app for macOS

Snap it.
Shot it.

Shot takes over your Mac's screenshot keys. Capture an area, a window or the whole screen, mark it up right where you took it, then drag its card straight into any app.

What it does

Capture, mark up, send. In seconds.

Every film on this page is drawn by Shot's own code, so what you see is exactly what the app does.

01

Your Mac's screenshot keys, taken over

Let Shot answer ⌘⇧4 for an area, ⌘⇧3 for the whole screen and ⌘⇧5 to record. Press Space while choosing an area to pick a window instead.

02

Mark it up right where you captured

The region stays on screen with its tools around it: arrows, lines, pen, boxes, ellipses, highlighter, numbered counters, text, blur, pixelate, spotlight, crop, and Read Text to copy the words out of a picture.

03

A card in the corner, ready to drag

Every capture is saved, copied to the clipboard and shown on a card. Drag it into a chat, an email or a document. Capture again and the cards stack up; pick them all with ⌘A and drag them together.

04

History, pins, recording and a timer

Find an earlier capture in the history and drag it out again. Pin a capture over every window while you work. Record an area and trim it from its card. Or capture on a timer, with time to open the menu you need.

Good to know

Questions, answered.

Which Macs does it run on?

Macs with Apple silicon, on macOS 14 (Sonoma) or later. Shot is signed and notarized by Apple, so it opens straight away.

What permission does it need?

Screen Recording, to see the screen it captures. macOS asks the first time you capture; you can change it later in System Settings › Privacy & Security.

Where do my captures go?

To the folder you choose, as PNG, JPEG or HEIC, and always onto the clipboard as PNG. Shot keeps a list of recent captures; taking one off the list never deletes the file.

How does it update?

By itself: Shot looks for new versions and installs them when you say so. You can also choose Check for Updates in its menu.

Download manager for macOS

See it.
Swoop it.

Swoop replaces your browser's default downloader, letting you grab videos and files from any website, including streaming platforms. Downloads open right away on your Mac, with no format headaches.
